Malaria - is eradication a realistic aim?

Dr Ferguson is one of the team at Glasgow University's parasitology department. Her work in both Glasgow and Tanzania involves laboratory, field and theoretical investigation of the plasmodium life cycle. She is ideally placed to update us on current management of malaria and to consider what the future might hold.
