2014-2015 Session

Good morning all GSMSers!

First of all an introduction...  I'm taking over from JO as secretary so Hello!

I'm an STR 5 in anaesthesia in the South and am looking forward to meeting all your secretarial needs!

First off...

The first meeting of this new session is on Thursday 9th October.  Usual venue (Eb Dunc at the Old Victoria) Usual time (6.15 buffet & 7pm start)

Our first meeting is the Presidential Address when our new President, Mr Eric Gardner Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma surgeon at the Victoria Infirmary, will chat to us all about "Change"...

I'll attach the syllabus for the year with the meeting dates into a separate post and look out for the letter inviting you to the meeting as well as the upcoming poster!

We'll be making a couple of changes this year... bring GSMS into the digital era with less snail mail and more hare mail so keep an eye on your inboxes for meeting reminders and the like!

Also we have yet to decide on an annual dinner event... I'll email round a doodle poll about interest and dates in the very near future!
